World Down Syndrome Day

Saturday 21 March is World Down Syndrome Day…. This date is recognised by the United Nations and represents the 21st day of the third month which was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
